Madonna’s nude photo sold for $37,500
The photo of naked Madonna, made by well known photographer Lee Friedlander in the 1979 have bee sold yesterday, on 12th of February, at Christie’s Art House.
It was initially supposed, that this photo of the young Madonna will be exposed on auction under the initial price of $10.000. However the message on forthcoming auction has caused such resonance in mass-media, that organizers of the auctions have lifted an initial price to $15.000. As a result, the picture has been bought for $37.500 by the unknown bidder from the European country.
